About
Serving the Community!
“Tennis is a great sport for all ages and abilities. Tennis is good in maintaining health, fitness, strength and agility. It also has social and psychological benefits”
It was in 2006 Julian Squiers took up full time coaching at Penenden Heath Tennis Academy. Five years on, Julian bought out PHTA and created SE Tennis, his community tennis coaching academy. SE Tennis is not a tennis club, there are no membership fees, and from the outset, the vision was clear – to attract a wide cross-section of people to enjoy the benefits of playing tennis. Reaching out, not only to those who already played the game but making it accessible to those who have never played or considered playing before!
Working with schools, running holiday camps with first-class professional coaches, the academy has grown into what it is today. Coming to SE Tennis, you will find a welcoming atmosphere, coupled with our unique blend of fun and competitive coaching styles, you will soon notice a difference in physical wellbeing, while learning to play to the level of your choice.
We guarantee quality sessions with lower-than-average coach to player ratios; meaning everyone learns faster and plays better tennis!
We have coaching programmes to suit all ages and abilities. Whether you are an absolute beginner, a regular player or simply a rusty racket, our LTA qualified coaches are committed to help you achieve your full potential!
