These are the terms and conditions subject to which we allow you to use our services. By engaging in our services, you agree to be bound by them. SOUTH EASTERN TENNIS LIMITED (known as SE Tennis), is a tennis academy. Our administrative address is: 7 Haywain Close, Maidstone ME14 5UX.

Definitions: “We”, “our”, or “us” refer to SE Tennis. “You “ and “you’re” refers to anyone who uses our services in any circumstances. Service[s]” refers to: Group and Private coaching, holiday camps, birthday parties, tournaments, before and after-school clubs and court hire. This is a non-exhaustive list and services may be added or removed without notice.

Booking Conditions – All bookings are subject to availability and are accepted at the sole discretion of SE Tennis. All “Services” must be booked and paid for in advance. There is no guarantee of your place if you do not pay by the deadline.

Bookings are non-refundable after purchase, unless

  1. A “Service” is discontinued by SE Tennis
  2. We are presented with a valid medical certificate declaring the participant unfit to attend when you will receive a credit note. It is your responsibility to check that you have been enrolled for the correct SE Tennis service, and that you are aware of the correct timings of this service.

You will be required to notify us in advance of any medical conditions for anyone participating on one of our “Services”, we reserve the right to refuse a booking if we believe the medical condition means that you cannot safely participate in the activity in question. We reserve the right to amend any terms and conditions within this document, the terms and conditions will be available on our website.

Payment – You must book and pay online, in full for the “Service” you wish to attend prior to attending your first session.

Payment by instalments – For group coaching, you may be offered, at the discretion of SE Tennis, the option to pay for the term by two instalments. If you choose to pay by two instalments, then having paid the first instalment, you are entering into a contract to pay for the coaching term in full.

Payment Guarantees – Once registered on one of our “Services” we guarantee:

  1. You are assured of your place for the duration of your booking.
  2. Should a session be cancelled, SE Tennis, will endeavour to contact you at the earliest opportunity.
  3. The appropriate court space and equipment will be provided.
  4. The coach will provide a safe learning environment to the best of their ability.

Cancellation Policy – for Group Coaching:

Non attendance – Refunds or credits for non-attendance will not be given, unless on medical grounds, and supported by a medical certificate. For players who miss a lesson, we will endeavour to offer a catch-up lesson during the term on a different day, provided there is availability in groups of the same level. Catch up lessons depend on availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Extreme weather – Refunds or credits for cancelled sessions due to the weather conditions, will not be given. If our coach cancels a session, due to bad weather, we will endeavour to offer a replacement session on another day during the term. Alternatively, we will provide “Make Up” sessions during either of the Easter and Summer school holidays.

SE Tennis reserves the right to cancel any service that is under subscribed. If this occurs, you will receive a full refund.

If you are unable to attend a coaching session you will not be entitled to a refund. However, we do allow “Make Up” sessions. Please speak with your coach, who will arrange a suitable alternative group.

Bookings are non-refundable after purchase from SE Tennis. If we are presented with a valid medical certificate declaring the participant unfit to attend, we will provide a credit note.

Cancellation Policy – Holiday Camps 

If you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, the fee will be transferred to another camp. There is no credit for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.

Cancellation Policy – for Private Lessons

Private lessons are arranged at a time and date agreed between you and your coach. Therefore, it is important that you communicate with your coach immediately you are aware of any circumstances that may impact on the session you have booked.

Private lessons can be rescheduled provided 24 hours notice is given. Cancellation under 24 hours will result in a 100% charge of the coaching fee due, unless for medical reasons, and accompanied with a medical certificate.

If due to bad weather the coach deems the courts to be unsafe; the session will be cancelled and rearranged for a time and date to suit both you and the coach.

Private Lesson Fees

All fees should be paid directly to the coach and must be paid in blocks of four lessons. All four lessons must be completed within six weeks of the first lesson.

Gift Vouchers

All gift vouchers purchased must be fully redeemed within twelve months from the date of the voucher’s issue.

 

General SE Tennis Policies

Health & Safety: You should wear appropriate tennis clothing and shoes when attending our courts. You should make the coach aware of any health / medical concerns that you have prior to the session. You must also follow any other health & safety policies as instructed by the coach. You are responsible for making sure you or your child brings any required medical equipment prior to any services. In the event this does not happen, we reserve the right to refuse participation.

Safeguarding 

  1. Children under the age of 11, should not be allowed to arrive or leave our tennis courts alone. It is your responsibility to be on time for collecting younger players and communicating any changes in pick up methods to SE Tennis.
  2. For children aged 6 and under, a responsible adult should remain at the courts during the session.

Behaviour – SE Tennis, reserves the right to deny entry to any person if there is evidence of misconduct or abusive behaviour.

Equal Opportunities & Diversity: You must treat all our coaches, volunteers and customers with dignity and respect, any aggressive actions (verbal/physical, harassment, bullying) towards our coaches, volunteers or customers will not be tolerated. Please refer to SE Tennis Safeguarding policy at: www.se-tennis.co.uk. Summaries are displayed courtside and a hard copy is available to view at our courts – just ask a coach.

Personal Property: SE Tennis cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any personal items whilst at out coaching sessions or courses.  Lost property found, should be handed to a member of our staff. Enquiries concerning lost property should be made to a member of staff when you are next at the courts.

Food & Drink – Food and drinks are not allowed on court, except drinks in water tight containers.

Court Hire: Customers who hire our courts in poor weather conditions, do so at their own risk.

We reserve the right to decline access to anyone who does not comply with our policies. You will have no right to a refund in this case.
